Hi everyone, my name is Brian. If you are considering Math subject tutoring, ACT/SAT tutoring or Writing tutoring, look no further! I'm a graduate of Boston College, and Math and Writing have always been my strongest academic subjects. Let's work together so that you fully understand academic subjects such as Math or Writing, and prep for the ACT or SAT. Let's increase test/writing readiness and decrease standardized test anxiety! You will be happy to hear that Algebra has always been my strongest subject and I provide a great amount of Pre-Algebra tutoring as well. Additionally, I have provided a large amount of tutoring for Geometry and other Math subjects. I like to first tutor/teach concepts in school, then help with problem-solving and test-preparedness. When providing Writing tutoring, I help students with research, planning, outlining and proofreading. When you need to take the ACT test or SAT test I can help you get ready to earn a great score. When I took the SAT, for the Math portion I earned a score of 800...yes, a perfect score! In terms of tutoring history, I have provided more than 2,500 hours of tutoring. Outside of traditional tutoring, in a previous tutoring/mentoring program I worked with high school students living in a group home in the Philadelphia area, either for school subjects or to prepare for tests.
