I've been a teacher for more than 25 years, teaching children, teenagers, and recently adults. Since English is the official language of Mauritius, it has always been a passion of mine to educate students on how to speak it fluently. The majority of people learn grammar in school and are familiar with its rules, yet they struggle to speak. Along with reading, I also teach speaking fluency and pronunciation. I can help with phonology and pronunciation as a trained and experienced English language speaker. My approach to teaching the English language is to make learning interesting, memorable, and fun—all of which contribute to one's ability to speak the language.
