The main person who pushed me to learn English was my grandfather. He did not see the world without English and considered it the most widespread and developed. Therefore, for more than 15 years I have been studying English, and for the last five years, I have been sharing my knowledge and experience. In addition, I periodically taught at the online English platform, both English and preparation for the APTIS, IELTS, and Duo English Test exams. And for almost a year, I've been teaching on Preply. One of my main interests as an English teacher is developing a communicative and student-centered approach in the classroom. I always show interest in the life of a student and try to select various exciting topics based on them, so that in addition to passing the language barrier, the student also develops critical thinking. Of course, all skills are worked out in the lessons, such as listening comprehension, text analysis, learning and working out new words, grammar, and, without fail, speaking in English. I strive to be a trusted friend to my students and to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable, and not afraid to ask questions, make mistakes, and speak confidently in English. In my class, learning goes beyond textbooks. It is about creating a dynamic environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are noted and the unique perspective of each student is valued.
